The 2015 Northwest Pinball and Arcade Show (NWPAS) Tournaments will be bigger and better than ever. Here is a summary of the events at the show. Click on tournament for details of that specific tournament.

NWPAS Pinball Tournaments Schedule

Main All-Match Play Tournament - 2015 PAPA Circuit Event

This is the main tournament of the event, offering both PAPA Circuit Event Points and IFPA World Pinball Player Ranking (WPPR) points. This event is open to all. $20 entry, maximum two retries allowed, qualifying at specific times on Friday and Saturday, playoffs on Sunday.

Classics PinGolf Tournament

This is another IFPA-ranked tournament that will be run on a variety of pre-1990 Pinball machines. This event is open to all. $20 entry. Qualifying on Friday and Saturday, playoffs on Saturday evening.

Rookie Knockout Tournament

Casual tournament on Sunday for players who are relatively new to competitive pinball, and who want an introduction and preliminary experience. Any player with an IFPA ranking of 2000 or below is also welcome to play.

Babes in Pinland Tournament

A restricted 3-Strike Knockout Tournament, on Saturday Afternoon that is open to women of all ages.

Kid's Tournaments

Nitro has donated the 60-in-1 gaming console for the tournament raffle, and multiple entries to the third annual Fraser Valley Flip-Out to be held September 24-27 in Mission, BC, just 2 hours north of Seattle.


Shorty’s is a long-time supporter of pinball tournaments. They host the longest-running tournaments in the Seattle area, with their 18th Annual Shorty’s Tournament coming in November, the Powder-Puff event that was held last week, and monthly events hosted by Skill Shot.

This tournament is part of the 2015-2016 PAPA Circuit. Details and standings for the circuit are available at http://papa.org. The winner of the NWPAS Main Tournament will receive 100 circuit points. The next 23 players will receive between 5 and 75 points depending on final placement. Top 40 circuit finalists are invited to the national final to be held in Pittsburgh in March 2016.


Other upcoming circuit events in the region include the Northwest Pinball Championships (NWPC), Aug. 28-30 in the Seattle Area, and Fraser Valley Flip-Out (FVFO) , Sep. 24-27 in Mission, BC. Both have sponsored this tournament with free entries to those events. 4th through 7th place in A division will get free entries to FVFO. 4th through 7th in B division will get free entries to NWPC.

Every attempt is made to keep the rules and information on this website accurate and up-to-date, and to run tournaments per the advertised structure and schedule. However, due to the nature of pinball and the fact that the tournaments are entirely run by volunteers, the tournament officials reserve the right to modify the tournament structure or schedule until the start time of that tournament. Late or last minute changes will be announced as appropriate prior to the start of the tournament. Changes to the tournament structure will not be made mid-tournament unless circumstances make such a change absolutely necessary.
